Rum, Drums & Reggae Festival

Miss Ivy Events is pleased to bring the Rum, Drums & Reggae Festival to Mount Edgcumbe!

A complete toast to all things Rum and Reggae, there will be an amazing selection of Rums to get your taste buds tingling! We also have some incredible live Steel Pan Band action from Real Steel, and Drum workshops from Shumba Arts*.

Worked up an appetite with all that dancing? Don’t worry! We have got the most delicious and authentic Caribbean food on hand ready to refuel your fire!  We are delighted to announce that the VERY talented Reggae singer Marley White will also be joining us.

The festival will be held in the incredible grounds of Mount Edgcumbe Artist’s Platt, overlooking the beautiful Plymouth Sound for the perfect chilled summer vibes. There will be lots of opportunities to try the rums, and even to buy some to take home! Lots of local and independent businesses will be there to offer their compliments to the world of Rum, Drums and Reggae with jewellery, clothing and beauty to name just a few!

Drum workshops (Sunday only) NB there is a small subsidised cost of £5.00 for the workshop – these can be booked on the day

This event is strictly for over 18’s on Saturday – Sunday is a family day at the Festival!

Dogs are permitted at this event but must be kept on a lead at all times.
No food or alcohol is allowed to be brought into this event.
There is disabled access into this event although please note the event is on grass.
Substance misuse will not be tolerated at this event and you will be asked to leave the festival.
The event is held in the Artist Platt and is an outdoor Festival.

How to get to the event

We’ve made it really easy to get here from Plymouth – just take the Cremyll Ferry from Admiral’s Hard, Stonehouse, and a free shuttle bus will bring you up to the event from the ferry port. This is the quickest and easiest way to get here, and there will be no need to allocate a designated driver!

Car parking is available on site and is charged at normal council car park rates.

Gin in the Garden Festival

Moorland Garden Hotel, Yelverton

Miss Ivy Events is pleased to bring Gin in the Garden Festival to the Moorland Garden Hotel, Yelverton.

Join us for an afternoon of Gin, Food and Entertainment in the picturesque surroundings of the Moorland Garden Hotel, Yelverton.

As well as sampling exotic street food and gins from local distilleries, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy musical entertainment, play outdoor games, socialise in a stunning location and listen to talks from the ‘Gin Experts’.

Bar with over 30 Gins
Gin in the Garden IS STRICTLY FOR OVER 18’s only, so please bring ID.
Dogs are permitted at this event outside or in the bar area. No food or alcohol is allowed to be brought into this event.

The event is held in the Gardens in case of bad weather the event will be hosted indoors in the hotel.
