Gin & Rum Festivals 2019


Retro Gin & Rum Festival – Saturday 6th April, 14:00 – 19:00

Plymouth Guildhall

 

Miss Ivy Events is pleased to bring the first Gin & Rum Festival to Plymouth!

On offer will be our bar with 40 different gins and rums PLUS a cocktail bar serving an array of different cocktails to suit all taste buds! On arrival, you will receive a welcome drink of either rum & coke or gin & tonic.

Get your dancing shoes on as there will be live 70s and 80s music throughout the day from local artists, including the ever popular Little Miss Mojo.

Feel free to dress up in retro costumes and have your photos taken in the photo booth! There will be a prize for the best-dressed couple.

Miss Ivy Events is pleased to bring the second Gin & Rum Festival to Tavistock!

On offer will be our bar with 40 different gins and rums PLUS a cocktail bar serving an array of different cocktails to suit all taste buds!

There will be an array of various live music throughout the event from jazz to rock tunes!

Gin, Bubbles & Music Festival

Mount Edgcumbe Earls Garden, Cremyll

Miss Ivy Events is pleased to bring the Gin, Bubbles & Music Festival to Mount Edgcumbe!

Join us for an afternoon of Gin, Food and Entertainment in the picturesque surroundings of Mount Edgcumbe, Cornwall.

As well as sampling exotic street food and gins from local distilleries, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy musical entertainment, play outdoor games, socialise in a stunning location and take part in a *gin masterclass sampling 5 local gins with Susy Atkins, the Sunday Telegraph’s drinks columnist. Please note, there is an extra charge for the masterclass, so you will need to book the MASTERCLASS & ENTRY TICKET – this is only available on the Saturday. On arrival, you will book into the slot you require. The masterclasses will be 30 minutes.

The event is held in the Gardens and also in a large marquee, so there will be indoor seating.

How to get to the event

We’ve made it really easy to get to the event from Plymouth – just take the Cremyll Ferry from Admiral’s Hard, Stonehouse, and a free shuttle bus will bring you up to the event from the ferry port. This is the quickest and easiest way to get here, and there will be no need to allocate a designated driver!

Car parking is available on site and is charged at normal council car park rates.

Rum, Drums & Reggae Festival

Mount Edgcumbe Park, The Artists Platt

Miss Ivy Events is pleased to bring the Rum, Drums & Reggae Festival to Mount Edgcumbe!

A complete toast to all things Rum and Reggae, there will be an amazing selection of Rums to get your taste buds tingling! We also have some incredible live Steel Pan Band action from Real Steel, and Drum workshops from Shumba Arts*.

Worked up an appetite with all that dancing? Don’t worry! We have got the most delicious and authentic Caribbean food on hand ready to refuel your fire!  We are delighted to announce that the VERY talented Reggae singer Marley White will also be joining us.

The festival will be held in the incredible grounds of Mount Edgcumbe Artist’s Platt, overlooking the beautiful Plymouth Sound for the perfect chilled summer vibes. There will be lots of opportunities to try the rums, and even to buy some to take home! Lots of local and independent businesses will be there to offer their compliments to the world of Rum, Drums and Reggae with jewellery, clothing and beauty to name just a few!

This event is strictly for over 18’s on Saturday – Sunday is a family day at the Festival!

Dogs are permitted at this event but must be kept on a lead at all times.
No food or alcohol is allowed to be brought into this event.
There is disabled access into this event although please note the event is on grass.
Substance misuse will not be tolerated at this event and you will be asked to leave the festival.
The event is held in the Artist Platt and is an outdoor Festival.
