A truly magical Christmas experience is guaranteed at a unique event taking place at the beautiful Port Eliot estate in Cornwall this December.
The two-day Christmas Festival on Friday December 13th and Saturday December 14th will embody everything you could possibly wish for at this very special time of the year, with more than 30 quality artisan exhibitors offering a fantastic array of individual and imaginative gift ideas plus lots of festive entertainment.
On the Friday, you can visit the Mad Hatter’s Studio and learn how to wrap the perfect present, creating beautiful eco-friendly wrapped gifts with your own printed paper, embellished with handmade decorations.
How about learning a new skill this Christmas? There’s the truffle making workshop where for £8 (bookable online) you can make and take away three delicious chocolate truffles, or try the jewellery making workshop run by Shh by Sadie.
Purdy Giles will be demonstrating some new and exciting alternatives for your Christmas canapés and The Treasury will be giving tips on how to make the perfect festive cocktails.
Musical entertainment from Culdrose Military Choir and Rock Choir will make the day go with a swing as you browse the stalls, enjoying a range of street food, mulled wine and mince pies.
On festival Saturday, there will be additional activities – Learn Devon will be showing how to make festive decorations and displays from recycled textiles or you can create unique Christmas bunting using vintage paper.
Excerpts from that quintessentially Christmas ballet, The Nutcracker, will be performed by Hartley School of Dance and the atmosphere is bound to get even more festive when Callington Gospel Choir perform.
The youngsters will be kept entertained with face painting and all sorts of antics courtesy of Entertainingly Different – and don’t forget to get a picture of this memorable day by visiting Clive the Caravan’s photo booth.
The festival runs from noon until 8pm on the Friday and from 10.30am until 4pm on the Saturday.
