Miss Ivy Events were delighted to recently be an integral part of an episode of Channel 5’s popular series The Hotel Inspector, with Alex Polizzi.
Director of Miss Ivy Events, Joanne Macaskie, received a call from the production team in May and was asked to offer support, advice and host an event at Colliters Brook Farm, Bristol to showcase what owner Richard could achieve with the venue.
Jo says ‘The production team got in touch as they had previously attended a Miss Ivy Event and thought that our style of artisan, vintage and bespoke events would work well with the venue space at Colliters Brook Farm.
In the space of just a couple of weeks from the initial phone call we hosted an event with over twenty stalls from traders across the Westcountry and invited members of the public to attend, which was all filmed for The Hotel Inspector.’
Miss Ivy Events hosts events, markets and festivals across Devon, Cornwall, Avon and Somerset, including their signature vintage style events, as well as new themes this year including pet and food and drink. Host venues have included Hotel Endsleigh, Powderham Castle, Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and Woodlands Castle.
Jo has also recently launched Miss Ivy Events Consulting which provides a bespoke events management consultancy package for venues across the region.
Jo says ‘There are so many opportunities for businesses to increase their footfall and spend, raise awareness and engage with their communities by hosting events and with the new Consultancy side to Miss Ivy Events we are able to share our expertise and experiences to support them.
The Colliters Brook Farm episode of The Hotel Inspector airs on Channel 5 at 9pm on Tuesday 11th July.
