My name is Amy and I am based on the edge of Dartmoor in a small town called Bovey Tracey.

My passion and inspiration to set up Absolute Animal Designs came from Sam my rescue dog, who I adopted in 2018. From the first day I got him, I learnt how much happiness, love, loyalty, and laughter a dog can bring into your life.

I started making toys for him to play with and really enjoyed the process of designing them. I loved seeing the joy it brought to Sam as when we first got him, he didn’t understand the concept of dog toys and didn’t know how to play with them. I hope I can bring the same joy and excitement to your pets’ life with my lovingly handmade accessories.

Absolute Animal Designs products are all handmade by me and made to order. You will find a HUGE range of accessories (pet collars, leads, bow ties, bandanas) as well as Enrichment Toys, Soft toys, Waterproof accessories, bespoke Dog Walking Bags, Teat Bags and so much more.

All of my fabrics and hardware are sourced in the UK. I buy lots of our materials from local shops and get our fillings from a local upholstery shop. I also care about our environment and like to reuse and recycle where possible. We currently have recycled rope toys and cat nip mice which are made from recycled materials. I also take Custom Requests for example Wedding Accessories for your pooches (Navy Blue Tweed Set in photo).
