Meet Jo – The Founder of Miss Ivy Events
I’m Jo, the founder of Miss Ivy Events!
With over 25 years of experience in retail, my journey into the events industry was an unexpected but exciting one. It all started in 2011, when I organized a local event just for fun. What was meant to be a one-off turned into a huge success, and I quickly realized there was something special about bringing people together in this way.
I’ve always been passionate about supporting local businesses, artisans, and creatives, and seeing the dedication and hard work of traders inspired me to do more. Drawing from my background in senior retail management, I wanted to create a thriving platform where independent traders could showcase their talents, connect with new customers, and grow their businesses.
And so, Miss Ivy Events was born—and we haven’t looked back since! Today, we’re proud to host exciting, high-quality events across the South West, offering both traders and visitors a truly memorable experience.
