I’m Emma and Bumble & Iris is my floral design business.

I live in the beautiful Devon countryside in Bovey Tracey on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. I create fresh seasonal flower bouquets, dried flower gifts, door wreaths & decorative gift planters. I only work with my own flowers grown from seed – tended with love and care through every stage or other locally grown & British flowers.

I deliver locally around Bovey Tracey, and offer subscriptions, workshops as well as wedding and funeral flowers.

Working in harmony with the seasons and taking a sustainable approach to floristry is at the heart of my business.

In my cottage garden and additional local plots, I grow naturally beautiful, fragranced cut flowers offering a sustainable and seasonable alternative to flowers usually available on the high street.

I am a member of Flowers from the Farm – a national network of British flower growers. Many of the flowers I use are grown within 20 miles of my home by other members, who place the same importance on sustainable and natural growing practices.

Only 10% of flowers sold in the UK are grown here – I aim to reduce flower miles and increase diversity in my immediate environment as well as in local business.
