I started my journey with ceramics by accident literally! It was in recovery 7 years ago that I turned to clay, the sheer excitement of working with a natural material.

My passion has always been nature, I was born in West Sussex but now live on the edge of Dartmoor and being able to walk both the landscapes and beaches around inspires me.

I use various methods to form my pieces they may be hand thrown on the wheel or hand built, whichever way I use, the bond between the clay and my hands is strong with the vision in my head evolving, my work is rustic, tactile, often described as organic and generates an emotional response.
