I am Jonathan Ward and I’m a photographer, specialising in aerial landscapes and wildlife photography.

Based in Plymouth, I am truly blessed by the beautiful landscapes I have within easy reach. From the majesty of the moors to the dramatic views of the coasts, I am thankfully spoiled for choice.

From an early age I have enjoyed photography, but it was when I flew my first drone that I truly discovered my passion. With UAVs, we’re able to capture the world around us in a dramatically different way from what we are familiar with. The mundane can become striking, and the already impressive can be elevated to new heights.

My other passion is wildlife photography. Because wild animals do not cooperate, the joy that you get when you can finally catch a good shot is immeasurable. Usually, you don’t really know whether you’ve got anything print worthy until you get back to base, but as you trawl through thousands of images, every now and then you get the perfect shot.

I offer prints of these shots, mounted and ready to be framed. I also offer a framing service.

Besides the prints, I also offer greeting cards, magnets, and postcards.
