Ivybridge Christmas Festival 2026

The Ivybridge Christmas Festival returns for 2026, bringing festive lights, Christmas shopping, food, live entertainment and community celebrations to locations across the town.

Organised by Ivybridge Town Council, with support from Miss Ivy Events, this year’s festival will feature a refreshed layout designed to create more space, more entertainment and even more to explore throughout Ivybridge.

Whether you’re starting your Christmas shopping, meeting friends and family or simply looking to soak up the festive atmosphere, there will be plenty happening across the town.

Christmas Market, Food & Entertainment at Erme Court Car Park

Erme Court Car Park will become home to the outdoor Christmas Market, with stalls to browse alongside live music, food and drink.

Visitors will also be able to find the Rotary’s Santa Sleigh beside the new town Christmas tree, as well as fairground rides adding to the festive atmosphere.

Indoor Christmas Market at The Watermark

The Watermark will host indoor Christmas market stalls, offering plenty to browse whatever the weather.

Families can also enjoy festive stories in the library read by Sara Hurley, alongside face painting and other seasonal activities.

Christmas Lights Switch-On on Fore Street

Fore Street will be at the heart of the celebrations, with the Christmas Lights Switch-On taking place at 6pm.

There will be live music and entertainment in two locations, while Ivybridge’s independent retailers will be opening for late-night Christmas shopping.

Festive Fun at Glanville’s Mill

The celebrations will begin earlier in the day at Glanville’s Mill with community Christmas tree dressing from 10:30am.

Later, visitors can enjoy late-night shopping, live music, entertainment, food and drink, and additional market stalls.

Advent Market at The Methodist Church

The Methodist Church will host an Advent Market featuring craft stalls, light refreshments and festive activities for all ages.

Winter Wonderland at Chapel Place

Chapel Place will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland, with children’s crafts and the opportunity to write letters to Santa.

Explore Christmas in Ivybridge

Additional market stalls will also be located throughout the town, creating a festive trail and giving visitors plenty to discover as they explore Ivybridge.

With Christmas shopping, food, entertainment, family activities and the town’s Christmas lights all coming together, the Ivybridge Christmas Festival is set to be a brilliant community celebration.
