What better way to spend a fun packed day with the family than at a traditional Summer Fete?

Following a roasting hot July (apart from the odd downpour), August has arrived with some cooler temperatures and cloudier skies. However, we hear that more long, hot, sunny days are set to return later this month.  

The return of settled weather looks as though it will coincide with our fabulous, traditional Summer Fete at Mount Edgcumbe House & Country Park on Sunday 22nd August.

This event is a fabulous family friendly day out with a host of fun, entertainment and lots to see and do for grown-ups and little ones alike.

Although tucked away in south east Cornwall, Mount Edgcumbe is easy to get to. If you're setting off from Plymouth you can jump onto the Cremyll Ferry, or book a ticket with Plymouth Boat Trips from the Barbican.  If you're travelling by car from Plymouth, cross via the Tamar Bridge (A38) to Trerulefoot roundabout, then take the B3247 to Millbrook and Mount Edgcumbe.
