Do you LOVE Ice-Cream? Then why not enter the all-new Great Westcountry Ice Cream Championships this summer at the Royal Cornwall Showground?

That's right, Miss Ivy Events presents a wonderful competition to win a deliciously delectable and temptingly tasty six-month supply of Ice Cream from award-winning local manufacturer Surfing Cow.

The lucky winner will receive 5 litres per month, of mouth-watering ice cream in flavours of their choice, for a whopping six months. WOW!

Based in Plymouth, Surfing Cow is a multiple Taste of the West gold and silver winner, and Food Drink Devon winners of a Gold award 2021/22. Their artisan ice cream is made with milk from their very own Jersey-cross cows who graze the South Devon coast and comes in a rainbow of delicious flavours including Salted Caramel, Honeycombe and Mascarpone & Caramelised Fig.

The competition will take place at the Ice Cream & Bubbles Festival at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge on Saturday 13th Augulst 2022.

Contestants will need to win through three preliminary heats to reach the event final 'how much can you eat' on the day.

So, what's involved?

Skipping and Licking - can you skip over a rope whilst enjoying a delicious scoop of ice cream balanced on a cone before disaster strikes? Perhaps your scoop will splat or your cone will break. Maybe you'll get the rope snagged around your feet! Oh, and by the way, there's a strict 'licking only, no biting until you get to the cornet' rule in place!

Sticky Obstacles - can you negotiate the various obstacles without dropping your ice cream? Maybe the Limbo will lay you waste. Perhaps the Hurdles will hobble you, or the Slalom stifle you. Just who will come through the course with their ice cream and cornet intact, and in the fastest time?

Talented Taste Buds - get that blindfold on and your taste buds ticking over for a tantalising test of tasting talent. Can you identify all the flavours?

Come through all the heats and be one of the victorious few to bag a place in the fun Finale. How much ice cream can you eat in one minute.... ONE MINUTE .... J U S T    O N E    M I N U T E!!! 

It's not long...

But if you manage to snaffle more scrummy vanilla than your rivals, then you and you alone will WIN a weekly delivery of ice cream courtesy of Surfing Cow to enjoy at home.
