Meet the Team

Jo’s focus is on creating innovative Festivals, lifestyle, pet and artisan events experiences. Her events provide a showcase for small, independent and local businesses offering unique, quality products to her customers. Jo’s ‘themed Festivals have been hugely successful across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, bringing together the best exhibitors and exciting entertainment to provide a day out to remember for her customers. Her retail management experience and passion for sniffing out the latest trends have proved an ideal background to developing such specialist events. She is also a qualified gemologist and loves perusing sparkly, pretty items. In her spare time Jo loves interior design and is an avid reader: and if you can’t find her managing her events, peering at gemstones or reading the latest Lesley Pearse, you’ll probably find her at the local pub with a glass of Prosecco.

Steph assists with events management, marketing, and business administration. She’s an outdoor loving, dog obsessed, 23-year-old who recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a first in BSc Business and Management. Throughout her degree I specialised in marketing and finance.
She has many years of experience working in both the customer service and event industries, and has worked as a freelance marketing assistant focusing on digital marketing for several years. She’s also lived in New Zealand where she worked for catering and events companies during my gap year. This work exposed her to different culture and honed her ability to rapidly adapt to new environments.
Miss Ivy Events is committed to supporting our local community and always strive to collaborate with regional businesses, exhibitors, charities and start ups. We’re proud to support not-for-profit organisations such as Children’s Hospice South West and Macmillan Cancer Support, as well as being involved in people-centred projects like ‘Tea-dance with a Twist’, run by Plymouth Dance.
Whenever possible, we work with a range of sponsors, Trusts and partners, including: Plymouth City Centre Company, The Agatha Christie Festival, the Ivybridge Chamber of Commerce, The National Trust, The Dartington Hall Trust and The South Devon Railway Trust, to name just a few. Newsletter
