Established in 2011, Miss Ivy Events has quickly become the South West’s leading organiser of vintage and artisan events. Miss Ivy’s ethos is to provide both exhibitors and customers with exceptional experiences, by bringing a wealth of resources together in one place so that everyone can benefit. Our events are set in stunning locations, run by a passionate, dedicated team, supported by highly professional organisations, and attended by enthusiastic exhibitors and clientele.
We are committed to supporting the local community and always strive to collaborate with regional businesses, exhibitors, charities and new start ups. We’re proud to support not-for-profit organisations such as Children’s Hospice South West and Macmillan Cancer Support, as well as being involved in people-centred projects like ‘Tea-dance with a Twist’, run by Plymouth Dance.
We also work with a range of sponsors, trusts and partners, including: Plymouth City Centre Company, The Agatha Christie Festival, Ivybridge’s Chamber of Commerce, The National Trust, The Dartington Hall Trust, The South Devon Railway Trust, amongst many others.
Miss Ivy Events Ltd was formed by Jo in 2011 with the aim of creating innovative vintage and artisan events experiences. Her events provide a showcase for small, independent and local businesses offering unique, quality products to her customers. Jo’s ‘Vintage & Lovely’ Fairs have been hugely successful across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, bringing together the best exhibitors and exciting entertainment to provide a day out to remember for her customers.
Her retail management experience and personal passion for ‘All Things Vintage’ have proved an ideal background to developing such specialist events. She is also a qualified gemmologist and loves perusing sparkly, pretty items. In her spare time Jo loves interior design and is an avid reader: and if you can’t find her managing her events, peering at gemstones or reading the latest Lesley Pearse, you’ll probably find her at the local pub with a glass of Prosecco.

Julie’s background lies in footwear design. Her career spans more than two decades and has seen Julie design footwear for high street stores and designer brands. Leaving the corporate world of footwear design behind, and relocating to Devon, Julie concentrated on designing her own collection of bridal shoes. It was whilst researching bridal trends that Julie developed a passion for wedding flowers, so Julie headed to college and gained a professional floristry qualification. Her strong background in design, and love of fashion trends, has lead Julie along a natural path to wedding and event styling.
Julie also has a love of the outdoors and spends time walking her two border collies over the untouched terrain of The Dartmoor National Park, or along coastal paths with a pub stop!
